"When the flood was at its height the scene on the Lady's Bridge at the top of the Wicker was most extraordinary. The water came rushing down between the buildings on each side with a force that made the Lady's Bridge quake and tremble. Against the bridge were piled up trees, logs of timber, broken furniture, and debris of every description." Harrison 1864. "I have crossed Lady's Bridge back and forth many times over the years, mainly to get to Kenny's Records on one side (now long gone sadly) or to the Castle Market on the other, both places provided me with food of different sorts. We all have to cross bridges in our lives and we will all have to leave things behind that are hard to let go sometimes, pause though before you cross and watch the ancient river flow, be at peace...then move on" Hawley 2007.

Care & Handling
Care & Handling
Handle your vinyl records, optical media (CDs and DVDs), and cassette tapes with care to preserve their condition and playback quality. Always hold records and discs by the edges or center hole, avoiding contact with grooves or shiny surfaces. Handle cassette tapes by the casing only, keeping fingers away from the tape itself. Store all media vertically in their protective sleeves or cases, away from direct sunlight, dust, and extreme temperatures. Keep them in a cool, dry place to prevent warping, scratching, or degradation over time.
