In the 1990s, two brothers from Manchester turned swagger into an art form. Oasis exploded onto the scene with Definitely Maybe in 1994—the fastest-selling debut album in UK history at the time.

Their follow-up, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, went supernova, spending over ten weeks at No. 1 and delivering timeless anthems like “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” and “Champagne Supernova.” Then came Be Here Now, which broke sales records and egos in equal measure, cementing their place in rock history.

With eight UK No. 1 singles, countless platinum albums, Oasis ruled the ’90s airwaves. Though they split in 2009 after yet another brotherly blow-up, rumours of a reunion never went away. And when Noel and Liam finally set aside their differences and announced a 2025 comeback, millions of fans shouted in unison: “Definitely maybe!”
