Earth, Wind & Fire

Formed in Chicago in 1969 by Maurice White, Earth, Wind & Fire became one of the most innovative and successful bands in music history.

The group's distinctive sound blended jazz, R&B, soul, funk, disco, pop, Latin, and Afro-pop, creating a genre-defying musical legacy that has influenced generations of artists.

Their breakthrough came with albums like Head to the Sky (1973) and Open Our Eyes (1974), but it was That's the Way of the World (1975) that established them as superstars, featuring the hit "Shining Star". The band's golden era continued with Gratitude (1975), Spirit (1976), All 'n All (1977), and I Am (1979), producing timeless classics including "September", "Boogie Wonderland", "Let's Groove", and "After the Love Has Gone".

Known for their spectacular live performances featuring elaborate stage productions, horn sections, and the distinctive vocals of Philip Bailey and Maurice White, Earth, Wind & Fire have sold over 90 million records worldwide.
