Founded in 1997 by Cocteau Twins' Simon Raymonde and Robin Guthrie, Bella Union has spent nearly three decades proving that good taste never goes out of fashion—even if the founders' haircuts from the '80s might have.

Now steered by Raymonde alone (Robin's presumably off somewhere being ethereal), this British independent label has become a sanctuary for artists who value substance over hype.
